Well I have come to the conclusion that life is rushing by. My daughter will officially be a teenager in a few days, and my son hits the milestone of being a decade old in a month. The years are passing at record speeds and I have all these thoughts that I hold inside.
Every reason that keeps me from journaling vanishes when I sit down in front of my computer. I don't have to find the perfect book that lies flat when you write & has big enough pages so you dont have to micro-print. I don't have to worry about finding the perfect inkpen to write with-one that flows smooth black ink-not so thin that it is hard to read, yet not so thick that you must prop the book open until the ink dries. I don't have to worry about crossing out or finding a bottle of white-out if I change my mind after I write an entire sentence-I can simply delete. I don't have to be in the mood to write neatly--which seems to never coincide with the urge to spill my thoughts. Therefore, I have decided to begin a blog.
Most days I post will more than likely be random meaningless ramblings, but on the rare chance that what I write has significance, I can simply print it & stick it in a folder which I will title-My Journal. So here begins the journey into the mind of me. Sit down, buckle-up, and hold on tight--this ride is sure to be filled with twists & turns and a few wild u-turns as well as a few sudden stops. Enjoy or don't-but if you comment (and I encourage you to), remember that most of what I say (or write) is tinged with humor, so don't take anything I have mentioned too seriously. Bon Voyage!
